Timothy Showalter, de man achter de band Strand of Oaks, staat bekend als singer-songwriter met baard, gitaar en gebroken hart. Zijn muziek zit ergens tussen indie, Americana, rock en folk, met elk nummer gebaseerd op traditionele singer-songwritermuziek. Samen met leden van My Morning Jacket is het album 'Eraserland' tot stand gekomen, welke eerder dit jaar verscheen. Tevens stelt Jason Isbell van Drive-By-Truckers zijn gitaarkunsten ter beschikking voor het nummer 'Moon Landing'.
