Since 1968, Paradiso has been thé venue for live music, club culture, counterculture, art, and social debate in the heart of Amsterdam. Paradiso is a sanctuary where new ideas take shape and talent can flourish, but above all, it is a place that brings people together for shared experiences.
Paradiso does this entirely on a nonprofit basis. All proceeds are invested in the future of live music culture. For example in supporting emerging talent, developing new program formats, and forging new collaborations. But also in ensuring the long-term preservation of the historic building.
Support from friends, donors, and partners is indispensable in this effort. Because thanks to the public’s support, Paradiso remains a place where innovation and experimentation thrive. Almost everyone in Amsterdam - and beyond it - has a special memory of Paradiso. With your support, we’ll ensure that Paradiso remains an unforgettable place for future generations of artists and audiences alike.
Friends of Paradiso
As a Friend of Paradiso, you experience moments others only dream of: You meet artists, take a look behind the scenes, and attend exclusive events. You receive a free annual membership, special invitations, and access to Friends' events. This way, you experience more *and* support Paradiso.
There are 2 types of memberships:
- YOUNG up to 35 years old € 50
- FOREVER YOUNG from 36 years old € 100
As a Friend of Paradiso, you receive:
- Invitation to exclusive Friends' events (including the Annual Friends' Drinks)
- Invitation to selected programs
- A free limited edition Paradiso poster annually
- Free annual membership
- 10% discount on Paradiso Merchandise
Donations, Gifts and Bequests
Would you like to make a gift or leave a bequest to Paradiso? Every contribution is warmly welcomed.
Paradiso is a Cultural ANBI (Public Benefit Organization). As such, Paradiso is exempt from tax on all proceeds from donations and bequests. Paradiso donors also benefit from tax advantages, as they are eligible for an additional charitable deduction. Individuals may multiply a donation to a cultural ANBI by 1,25 on their income tax return and claim it as a deduction.
There are also various ways to include Paradiso in your will. For example, you can name Paradiso as a beneficiary of a bequest or include Paradiso as a (co-)heir. Conditional bequests are also possible.

Partners
Heineken
Paradiso and Heineken have been working together for many years and share a rich history in Amsterdam. In addition to Heineken being the official beer supplier, we work together through a sustainable partnership to enhance the visitor experience at Paradiso.
This partnership is reflected in various joint initiatives, including RAY: a special beer developed in collaboration with the Oedipus brewery. The name RAY refers to the iconic lighting in the building and symbolizes the shared commitment to giving space—both literally and figuratively—to creators and live music artists.
In addition, Heineken has been a committed partner in the “100 Years of Paradiso” project since its inception. Through this partnership, Heineken is directly contributing to the future plans and the upcoming renovation of the historic building on Weteringschans.
