De broers Ian en James vormen samen met drummer Will Lawrence en bassiste Jesske Hume (Conor Oberst, Jade Bird) de folkrockband The Felice Brothers. Melancholieke americana waarin de muzikale erfenis van Bob Dylan en The Band nadrukkelijk doorklinkt. De broers zijn begonnen op de zondagse barbecues van hun vader en in de straten en metrostations van New York. Hierna ging het snel en was de band te zien in Radio City Music Hall, Newport Folk Festival tot aan Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble. Met hun nieuwste plaat, 'Valley of Abandoned Songs', tonen ze zich op hun meest intiem en ongepolijst, waarbij hoop en wanhoop elkaar in evenwicht houden.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
