This concert is part of a full evening programme featuring rock bands Brutus, Psychonaut and The Waltz. Tickets for the entire evening (including RONKER's concert) are available here.

Omdat het leven al complex genoeg is, gaat de Belgische rockband RONKER op zoek naar de zwaarte in simpliciteit. In 2023 releaste zij hun eerste EP ‘Self Loathing Self Help’ op Labelman. Met één been diep geworteld in het gitaargeweld uit de jaren negentig en het andere verstrengeld in de galm van de jaren tachtig, balanceert de band bewust op de rand van uitersten. Blackened postpunkgaze voor Nine Inch Nails fans, of is het gewoon indie metal? RONKER is vooral een band die je live moet zien; waar de waas van feedback over het geweld raast.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
