Vanaf het begin van haar carrière heeft het werk van PJ Harvey de aandacht weten te trekken. Als multi-instrumentalist is ze in de eerste plaats zangeres, gitariste en pianiste. Haar oeuvre bevat negen studioalbums en samenwerkingen met een breed scala aan muzikanten, waaronder Thom Yorke, Nick Cave, Josh Homme, Mark Lanegan en Sparklehorse. Ze heeft uitgebreide soundtracks gecomponeerd voor film, televisie en toneel. Haar onderscheidingen omvatten een MBE voor diensten aan muziek en een eredoctoraat in muziek aan Goldsmiths College. Ze is de enige artiest die twee keer de Mercury Music Prize heeft gewonnen, naast acht Brit Award-nominaties, zeven Grammy Award-nominaties en nog twee Mercury Prize-nominaties. Haar nieuwe werk 'I Inside The Old Year Dying' wordt het eerste album in zes jaar tijd.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
