Maaike Ouboter beleeft in 2013 in Nederland en Vlaanderen een stormachtige doorbraak met haar deelname aan het televisieprogramma De Beste Singer-songwriter van Nederland. Haar optreden in het televisieprogramma met het nummer ‘Dat Ik Je Mis’ wordt op Youtube ruim 25 miljoen keer bekeken en de single wordt met platina bekroond. In 2015 komt haar debuutalbum ‘En Hoe het Dan Ook Weer Dag Wordt’ uit en wordt opgevolgd door diverse tournees langs poppodia en theaterzalen. Het album behaalt de gouden status. Na haar tweede album ‘Vanaf Nu Is Het Van Jou’ neemt ze even pauze om nieuwe inspiratie op te doen, maar nu is ze terug met de release van de single ‘Doe Mij Maar Het Verdriet’. Met haar bekende oeuvre én nieuwe muziek keert ze dit najaar samen met haar band terug naar Paradiso.

How to get to Tolhuistuin
Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein. Restaurant THT serves an extensive menu for any music lover – making a reservation is recommended.
