Jack and the Weatherman, oftewel Berry ‘Jack’ Krikken en Sebastiaan ‘Weatherman’ Weerman, zijn oude schoolvrienden van elkaar uit Emmen. Bij toeval liepen ze elkaar jaren later weer tegen het lijf in Haarlem en voilà, Jack and the Weatherman werd geboren. De muziek van het duo klinkt als vrolijke, zonnige folkpop, geïnspireerd door artiesten als Jason Mraz, Milky Chance en The Lumineers, maar vooral ook door het leven, de zon en de Haarlemse surfcultuur. In 2018 bracht Jack and the Weatherman hun debuutalbum ‘The Lucky Ones’ uit, die goed werd ontvangen in binnen- en buitenland en inmiddels miljoenen keren is gestreamd op Spotify. Voor 2020 staat er een nieuw album op de planning, wat in februari 2022 wordt gevierd met een release show in de grote zaal van Paradiso.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
