Erika de Casier schreef, produceerde én releasede haar debuutalbum ‘Essentials’ via haar eigen platenlabel in 2019. De in Portugal geboren alleskunner groeide op in Denemarken en stuurt nu van daaruit haar sensuele mix van nineties r&b, soul en elektronische pop de wijde wereld in.

Het zijn warme en elegante liedjes, waarin haar zachte, fluisterende stem als gegoten past. Haar debuut werd zo goed ontvangen dat het Erika de Casier een platencontract bij 4AD opleverde; haar tweede plaat ‘Sensational’ verschijnt in mei 2021 dan ook via het gerenommeerde label.

How to get to Parallel

Parallel is located at Buiksloterweg 5C in Amsterdam North, at the rear end of the Tolhuistuin building. To get there, catch one of the free ferries departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Upon crossing the IJ river, take an immediate left and cross the Volewijck bridge. Turn right and continue walking until you reach Overhoeksplein. Here, you will find the Galgenveld bridge to your right. Crossing it, you will find the Tolhuistuin archway and Parallel’s entrance.
