Ava Luna maakt artistieke indie-funk met onmiskenbare grooves. New York fungeert als creatief epicentrum van het vijftal, waar ze in de afgelopen tien jaar een indrukwekkende live-reputatie hebben opgebouwd. Met de vijfde release ‘Moon 2’ uit 2018 is de band op haar meest vooruitstrevend, waarbij de magnetische en theatrale vocalen van frontvrouwen Felicia en Becca een sleutelrol spelen. Pitchfork beschrijft het als volgt: “The Brooklyn band’s latest is one of their best, a shifting and teasing kind of electro-funk that exists on their own plane of gravity.”

LOVE COUPLE maakt popliedjes kapot, maar dan op de best mogelijke manier. De vierkoppige band uit Utrecht brengt ijzersterke samenzang in een jasje van 80’s sounds met een bijdehante 90’s attitude.

How to get to Paradiso
Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
