William Fitzsimmons is een multi-instrumentalist, komt uit Illinois en maakt ingetogen folk onder begeleiding van zijn fluisterende stemgeluid. Zijn verhaal is onalledaags; zijn beide ouders zijn blind en daarom verliep bij hem thuis alles via non-visuele, maar wel uiterst muzikale communicatie. Zo stond zijn ouderlijk huis vol instrumenten en liet zijn moeder hem kennismaken met de muziek van Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell en James Taylor. Fitzsimmons bespeelde van jongs af aan vele instrumenten, begon al snel zelf muziek te schrijven en nam zijn eerste twee albums 'Until When We Are Ghosts' (2005) en 'Goodnight' (2006) helemaal zelf op. Eind 2018 verscheen 'Mission Bell', wederom een heel fraaie toevoeging aan zijn repertoire.

How to get to Paradiso
Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
