Folk singer-songwriter Tré Burt bracht in 2018 zelf zijn debuutalbum 'Caught In The Rye' uit. En hoewel er lovende reacties op waren, dacht Burt dat het daar zou stoppen. Echter, in 2019 ontdekte Jody Whelan van Oh Boy Records het album van Burt. Whelan was direct onder de indruk en noemde hem zelfs een van zijn favoriete artiesten. Burt tekende later bij het label en bracht zijn debuutalbum opnieuw uit. Daarnaast bracht hij in september zijn single 'Under The Devil's Knee' uit samen met Leyla McCalla, Allison Russell en Sunny War. De zanger zegt op een jonge leeftijd al geïnspireerd te zijn door artiesten zoals the Temptations, Nina Simone, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Woody Guthrie en Neil Young. Dit hoor je vandaag de dag nog steeds in zijn muziek.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
