The Howl & The Hum combineert donkere, hypnotiserende pop met postpunkinvloeden. Zelf omschrijft de band uit York hun muziek als volgt: “The Howl & The Hum is een ellendige discotheek waarin James Bond-themanummers worden geschreven voor films waarin Jimmy nog steeds verliefd is op dat meisje.” De indierockers stonden al tweemaal op London Calling Festival en werden door recensenten en publiek beide keren een van de absolute hoogtepunten genoemd. Na een optreden op Lowlands 2019 en een eigen clubconcert in Amsterdam is het nu tijd voor de grote zaal van Paradiso.
Special guests: Veps
De jonge band Veps uit Oslo brengt een aanstekelijk nineties indiegeluid in ongepolijste nummers. Met debuut-EP ‘Open the Door’ manifesteert het viertal zichzelf meteen als een van de meest veelbelovende Noorse bands van dit moment.

How to get to Paradiso
Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
