Zita Swoon-oprichter en oud dEUS-bandlid Stef Kamil Carlens bracht in 2017 voor het eerst onder zijn eigen naam muziek uit. De afgelopen jaren ontwikkelde de Belg zich als beeldend kunstenaar, en speelde met Zita Swoon Group een aantal eigenzinnige theatervoorstellingen die in binnen- en buitenland met superlatieven werden overladen.

In 2017 verscheen solodebuut ‘Stuck In The Status Quo’, een album waarvoor Carlens vrijwel alle instrumenten zelf inspeelde. In het najaar van 2019 wordt deze plaat opgevolgd door een tweede soloalbum.

Op het podium brengt Stef Kamil Carlens met een voltallige band zowel oude als nieuwe nummers ten gehore, uit zowel zijn solorepertoire als dat van Moondog Jr. en Zita Swoon.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal before the show. We recommend making a reservation in advance via this website.
