‘From Gas To Solid / You Are My Friend’ is het derde album en eerste in zes jaar tijd van Soap&Skin, het experimentele muziekproject van Anja Plaschg. De klassiek geschoolde pianiste heeft al een hoop meegemaakt en zingt hierover in haar gitzwarte, angstaanjagend mooie nummers. Donkere pianoklanken en haar intense vocalen zorgen voor een haast religieuze sfeer. Plaschg doet in de verte denken aan Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Cat Power, Nico en PJ Harvey, al is haar werk grimmiger. Op 20 april is ze voor het eerst in tien jaar weer terug op Paradiso terrein.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal before the show. We recommend making a reservation in advance via this website.
