Due to a small fire at Tolhuistuin, the Jarrod Dickenson concert in December unfortunately had to be postponed. Together with the artist’s team, we have been working for some time to find a new date for this concert. We regret to inform you that this was not possible. For this reason, the concert is now definitively canceled. All ticket holders received an email with more information.

De in Texas geboren, nu in Brooklyn wonende singer-songwriter Jarrod Dickenson maakt onvervalste americanaliedjes die recht uit het hart worden gezongen. Eigenlijk had Dickenson nooit plannen om een carrière te maken in de muziekindustrie, maar na de middelbare school begon de nu multi-instrumentalist te jammen met vrienden op een gitaar, en werd het schrijven van liedjes steeds serieuzer naarmate de jaren verstreken. Hij groeide op met de muziek van zijn vader, die zijn muzikale smaak sterk heeft beïnvloed. Onder andere The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Simon & Garfunkel en Bob Dylan zijn zijn grote voorbeelden. Nu is zijn zelfgeproduceerde, derde album 'Big Talk' uit, waarmee Jarrod zijn meest compromisloze songwriting tot nu toe heeft weten te bereiken.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
