ROSEYE, geleid door Tallulah Rose, combineert psychedelische grooves met etherische verhalen. Hun debuutalbum, dat in april 2024 uitkomt op het label van Super-Sonic Jazz, onderzoekt thema’s als seksualiteit, spiritualiteit, natuur en verdriet. Dit 5-delige ensemble uit Amsterdam draagt hun diverse Europese wortels uit in een mix van soul, jazz, gospel, hiphop en elektronica. Geleid door inspiratie van Jordan Rakei, Hiatus Kaiyote en Robert Glasper, is de muziek van ROSEYE een eerlijke, groovende en explosieve, maar ook een intieme soulvolle communie van geluiden. Tijdens Super-Sonic Jazz Festival stond ROSEYE in de Bovenzaal en paste er niemand meer bij en terecht: ROSEYE wil je niet missen. Op 24 april is de release van hun debuutalbum in Tolhuistuin.

Super-Sonic Jazz

Dit concert is onderdeel van Super-Sonic Jazz, een talentontwikkelingsplatform opgericht door Paradiso om een podium te bieden aan de nieuwe golf van hedendaagse jazzmuzikanten. Gedurende het hele jaar worden er concerten en clubnachten georganiseerd. In november vindt jaarlijks het Super-Sonic Jazz Festival plaats, waarbij meerdere locaties in Amsterdam in het teken van jazz staan.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal before the show. We recommend making a reservation in advance via this website.
