Rob Klerkx and The Secret komt dit voorjaar met het nieuwe album 'Back To Cumberland' naar Paradiso. Zanger en liedjesschrijver Rob gaat gemiddeld vijf keer per jaar naar Nashville om daar samen met bekende lokale muzikanten (Jeff Bates, Keith Dozier, Ryan Griffin, Jess Brown) aan muziek te werken. Zo ontstond ook 'Back To Cumberland'. Het thema van de plaat is de zoektocht naar je roots, familiebanden en je persoonlijke geschiedenis. Gezien vanuit het perspectief van de migranten die naar Amerika vertrokken en via de Cumberland rivier in het zuiden van Amerika arriveerden. The Secret zorgde vervolgens voor een rauw en eerlijk geluid dat schuurt, net als het leven en de zoektocht zelf.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
