This concert is NOT the replacement for the Tuesday, September 17, 2024 concert, which was postponed due to illness. This show was already scheduled before last week's cancellation. Ticket holders for September 17 will receive an email as soon as more information about a possible new date is available.

This is the rescheduled concert from Wednesday March 27, 2024. Tickets purchased for the original date are also valid for this concert. Ticket buyers have received an email with more information.

De invloedrijke rockband Pretenders onder leiding van de onvermoeibare frontvrouw Chrissie Hynde werd opgericht in 1978 in Hereford, Engeland. De band werd wereldwijd succesvol met hun unieke mix van rock, punk en pop en hits als 'I'll Stand By You', '2000 Miles' en 'Brass in Pocket'. Gedurende de jaren evolueerde Pretenders door verschillende bezettingswisselingen, maar bleef Hynde het creatieve brein achter de formatie. In 2003 gaf Pretenders voor het laatst een concert in Paradiso, in 2024 komt de band terug voor twee concerten in de Grote Zaal.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
