Peter Hook is de bassist van de legendarische bands Joy Division en New Order, waarmee hij respectievelijk eind jaren zeventig en jaren tachtig furore maakte. Met Joy Division maakte hij het iconische album 'Unknown Pleasures' met daarop hits als 'Disorder', 'Shadowplay' en 'She's Lost Control'. Dat album wordt volledig gespeeld met zijn inmiddels vaste band The Light, net als het minder bekende album 'Closer' en een aantal tijdloze favorieten als 'Love Will Tear Us Apart'.

Alvorens de Joy Division-viering begint speelt Hook een set vol New Order materiaal om de zaal op te warmen.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
