"Due to the ongoing Covid restrictions across Europe, it’s with huge disappointment and sadness that we will have to cancel our European shows in May (list dates). Paul and the band are devastated and it was an incredibly difficult decision to have to make. For all ticketing information including refunds, please go back to your original point of purchase.”
Paul Weller maakte in de jaren zeventig furore met The Jam, in de jaren tachtig met The Style Council en in de jaren negentig als soloartiest. In Groot-Brittannië wordt hij gezien als een van de meest invloedrijke artiesten en werd hij door de Britpopgeneratie gekroond tot ‘The Modfather’. Als soloartiest scoorde hij grote hits ‘Wildwood’, ‘You Do Something To Me’ en ‘The Changing Man’ en nam reeds veertien studioalbums op. De laatste is 'True Meanings' uit 2018, waarop Noel Gallagher en Lucy Rose meespelen. Dit jaar bracht Weller het livealbum 'Other Aspects, Live at the Royal Festival Hall' uit. In Paradiso staat hij met voltallige band op het podium.

How to get to Paradiso
Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
