Mike and The Moonpies is een Amerikaanse country- en Americana band gevestigd in Austin, Texas. De band werd in 2007 opgericht door singer-songwriter Mike Harmeier. Op het meest recente werk, 'Cheap Silver and Solid Country Gold', tappen de mannen uit een ander vaatje. De band vloog naar Londen om in de befaamde Abbey Road Studios nummers op te nemen met leden van het London Symphony Orchestra. Door deze toevoeging van strijkers en pedal steel guitar wordt teruggegrepen naar het klassieke Nashville geluid.Â

How to get to Paradiso
Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.Â
