De Amerikaanse singer-songwrtiter Michael Nau, wellicht beter bekend als frontman van zowel Page France als Cotton Jones, schopt het zonder band ook een heel eind. Zijn solodebuut kwam onder meer tot stand doordat hij een familie heeft gesticht met Cotton Jones-bandlid en echtgenote Whitney McGraw. Zijn debuutalbum ‘Mowing’ verscheen in 2016 en zit vol warme, uitnodigende en verrassende indierock. Vorig jaar verscheen zijn nieuwe album ‘Some Twist’, maar dat vond de singer-songwriter niet genoeg, kort daarna verscheen ook de EP ‘The Load’. Op deze EP is ook een alternatieve versie van het nummer ‘I Root’ te vinden.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal before the show. We recommend making a reservation in advance via this website.
