Madrugada, een van de grootste Noorse rockbands aller tijden, is definitief terug. In 2019 vormde het twintigjarig jubileum van het legendarische debuutalbum ‘Industrial Silence’ de directe aanleiding voor een reünie en een grootschalige tournee. Die hereniging beviel zo goed dat de band besloot om samen door te gaan en nieuwe muziek te maken. Waar de vorige tournee vooral in het teken stond van het debuut, kunnen bezoekers zich nu verheugen op een mix van klassiekers en gloednieuwe nummers.
De band bestaat uit Sivert Høyem, Frode Jacobsen en Jon Lauvland Pettersen. Het oorspronkelijk vierde lid van de band, Robert Burås, overleed in 2007. Een jaar na zijn overlijden publiceerde de band hun laatste album ‘Madrugada’ en kondigde daarmee ook het einde van de band aan. Sinds het uiteenvallen van de band in 2008 heeft frontman Sivert Høyem nog regelmatig gezorgd voor uitverkochte Paradiso-zalen. Maar in 2022 wordt hij, net als in 2019 en als vanouds, vergezeld door Madrugada-bandleden.

How to get to Paradiso
Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.Â
