Lisa LeBlanc is een singer-songwriter uit Quebec, Canada met een voorliefde voor de banjo. Daarmee maakte ze in 2012 haar debuutalbum, volledig in het Frans gezongen. Voornamelijk kleine folkliedjes met het herkenbare geluid van het snaarinstrument en even zo herkenbare rauwe vocalen van LeBlanc. Inmiddels zingt ze net zo makkelijk in het Engels en voert ze het tempo goed op. Zo staat er zelfs een cover van Motörhead's 'Ace Of Spades' op haar nieuwste album 'Why You Wanna Leave, Runaway Queen'.

Dit concert maakt deel uit van de Sugar Mountain Presents concertreeks.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
