Kate Tempest staat bekend om haar unieke en intelligente woordkunsten. Haar muziek is brutaal en vernieuwend tegelijk, waarin ze voornamelijk leunt op aanstekelijke hiphop en pop. Ze schuwt de moeilijke onderwerpen niet. Armoede, het klassenstelsel en sociaal-economische misstanden komen allemaal voorbij in haar fijnzinnige en maatschappijkritische teksten. De urban poet maakt veel indruk met pakkende liveshows. Twee jaar terug verscheen het messcherpe album ‘Let Them Eat Chaos’, dit voorjaar presenteert Kate Tempest nieuw materiaal.
