De Amerikaanse singer-songwriter was een helft van het Grammy-winnende duo The Civil Wars, maar doet solo niet onder in het country-circuit. Onlangs verscheen zijn derde soloplaat 'The Hurting Kind' , welke op lovende recensies kon rekenen. Het is een geïnspireerd klinkend album, met invloeden van traditionele countrymuziek en de prachtige stem van John Paul White maakt duidelijk dat er leven is na The Civil Wars.

How to get to Zonnehuis
Zonnehuis is on Zonneplein 30a in Amsterdam North. Parking is free around this monumental building. The closest ferry to Zonnehuis is the NDSM-werf ferry. From there you can take a cab or bicycle, both getting you to the venue in about 10 minutes.
