Dat je geen geboren Amerikaan hoeft te zijn om prachtige country pop te maken, bewijst de Nederlandse singer-songwriter Joe Buck. De jonge Rock Academie-alumni, overigens niet te verwarren met de Amerikaanse muzikant met dezelfde naam van o.a. Legendary Shack Shakers, trok na zijn afstuderen naar Nashville om songs te schrijven voor zijn debuutalbum. Dat gaat hem voor de wind. Het gaat zelfs zó goed, dat zijn single ‘The Way You Take Time’ benoemd werd tot NPO Radio 2 Topsong en hij als eerste Nederlandse artiest ooit heeft opgetreden op CMA Fest, het grootste countrymuziekfestival van Amerika. Ook tourde hij door Europa met Kacey Musgraves en speelde hij in het voorprogramma van o.a. Duncan Laurence, Hunter Hayes, Maren Morris, Ilse DeLange en Dan+Shay. In het najaar van 2021 is hij te zien in het nieuwe seizoen van Beste Zangers en in 2022 geeft hij een concert in Tolhuistuin.

How to get to Tolhuistuin
Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein. Restaurant THT serves an extensive menu for any music lover – making a reservation is recommended.
