De Amerikaanse hiphopcrew Injury Reserve, oorspronkelijk opgericht door rappers Ritchie With a T, Stepa J. Groggs en producer Parker Corey, wist in 2015 direct op te vallen met debuutmixtape ‘Live From The Dentist Office’. Met de daaropvolgende releases werd de buzz rondom de groep alleen maar groter en werkten ze samen met namen als Freddie Gibbs, Vic Mensa, Rico Nasty, Aminé en JPEGMAFIA. Na de release van het debuutalbum in 2019 begon Injury Reserve te werken aan de nieuwe plaat ‘By the Time I Get to Phoenix’, maar alles kwam tot stilstand na het tragische overlijden van Stepa J. Groggs in 2020. Toch besloten Ritchie en Corey het album af te maken en volledig op te dragen aan hun crewlid, zodat zijn invloedrijke stem en woorden nog heel lang na blijven klinken. Op dinsdag 15 februari komen ze naar Bitterzoet voor een concert.
