De jonge songwriter Indigo De Souza uit North Carolina begeeft zich op het snijvlak tussen indiepop en -rock. Haar scherpe teksten sluiten naadloos aan bij haar soulvolle stem. In 2018 verscheen haar eerste album 'I Love My Mom' en in 2021 haar tweede album 'Any Shape You Take', waarop zij liet horen dat ze van verschillende markten thuis is. De Souza verpakte haar ontwapenende botte overpeinzingen in autotuned synthpop, wervelende grunge, rommelende indierock en bitterzoete funk. Deze albums leidde tot uitverkochte tournees en lovende recensies van onder andere Pitchfork en The New York Times. In april 2023 komt haar derde album 'All Of This Will End' uit en op 5 juli zal zij deze ten gehore brengen in Tolhuistuin.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal before the show. We recommend making a reservation in advance via this website.
