The Greyhounds is een Amerikaans muzikanten trio uit Austin, Texas, opgericht eind jaren '90. De band bestaat uit toetsenist Anthony Farrell, gitarist Andrew Trube en Ed Miles op de drums. Hun unieke sound is een mix van R&B, soul, funk en country. De vele bijzondere liveshows hebben een trouwe schare fans opgeleverd. Ze traden destijds onder andere op met Susan Tedeschi en Derek Trucks. Album 'Cheyenne Valley Drive' is in drie dagen opgenomen, waarvoor oud materiaal wat nooit gebruikt is, tevoorschijn werd gehaald. De muziek is rechtstreeks op tape opgenomen, zoals vroeger veelvuldig werd gedaan. Op het album is sprake van speciale gastoptredens van enkele goede Tennessee-vrienden Dante Schwebel, Will Sexton, Amy LaVere en Art Edmaiston.

How to get to Paradiso
Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.Â
