Grayson Capps is een singer-songwriter uit Alabama die al zes studioalbums op de teller heeft staan. Zijn rauwe, rock 'n roll en country wordt bij vlagen getemperd door mooie gospelharmonieën en soulinvloeden. De Amerikaanse muziekwebsite American Songwriter beschreef Grayson op zeer treffende wijze: "Take the poetry of Texas troubadour Townes Van Zandt, combine with Steve Earle's edgy attitude and stir with a little cup of the bayou-blues (think Howlin' Wolf) and you start to get a taste of Capps' scrumptious gothic gumbo."Â
Op deze avond in de Tuinzaal wordt Capps vergezeld door gitarist Corky Hughes en bassist Sadie Morningstar.

How to get to Tolhuistuin
Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein. Restaurant THT serves an extensive menu for any music lover – making a reservation is recommended.
