Het programma Ed Motta op 14 juni is helaas afgelast vanwege gezondheidsredenen. Er komt geen vervangende datum.

Na een pauze van vijf jaar is Ed Motta terug met zijn 14e studioalbum 'Behind The Tea Chronicles'. Het album neemt ons mee op een reis, overschrijdt muzikale grenzen en nodigt uit om niet alleen naar soulvolle en groovy nummers te luisteren, maar ook om in bijna filmische stemmingen te duiken.

Motta bracht op slechts 15-jarige leeftijd zijn eerste plaat uit en heeft gedurende zijn carrière zijn muzikale passies uitgebreid naar soul, funk, jazz, classic rock, klassieke muziek, blues en Broadway. Naast zijn solocarrière heeft Motta samengewerkt met internationale artiesten zoals Ryūichi Sakamoto, Roy Ayers, Jean-Paul “Bluey” Maunick (Incognito) en vele anderen. Zijn passie voor muziek en onderscheidende stijl maken Ed Motta een invloedrijk figuur in de wereld van hedendaagse Braziliaanse muziek.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
