Destroyer is het langlopende soloproject van Dan Bejar, ook bekend als bandlid van The New Pornographers. De poëtische crooner uit Canada verkent door de jaren heen verschillende stijlen, van elektronische folk en seventies-invloeden tot aan het gelikte jaren 80-popgeluid van de spraakmakende plaat ‘Kaputt’. Welke weg Destroyer ook inslaat, zijn cryptische teksten en karakteristieke stemgeluid staan op elk album centraal. Zo ook op zijn synth-rocksingle ‘Crimson Tide’, waarmee hij zijn dertiende album ‘Have We Met’ aankondigde.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
