Ciaran Lavery komt voor een bijzonder intiem en emotioneel concert naar de Tuinzaal. De Ierse songwriter maakt rauwe alt-folk zonder al te veel opsmuk, met zijn hese stem en gitaarspel als basis. Zijn teksten zijn weemoedig en troostend tegelijkertijd. Door toevoeging van strijkers en goedgeplaatste percussie brengt Lavery een subtiele gelaagdheid aan. Zijn derde album ‘Sweet Decay’ verscheen begin 2018. Het is de opvolger van 'Let Bad In', waarvoor hij in 2016 de award voor het beste album in Ierland ontving.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
