De band Boy & Bear begon in 2009 als het soloproject van Dave Hosking maar groeide in korte tijd uit tot succesvolle vijfkoppige band. De muziek van de Australiërs werd al vroeg opgepikt door radiostation Triple J, waarna het debuut 'Moonfire' een platina-status en vijf ARIA Music Awards verdiende. Ondertussen hebben Hosking en zijn compagnons internationaal een indrukwekkende reputatie op weten te bouwen in het indiefolkgenre. Na hun derde album 'Limit Of Love' uit 2015 is het nu weer tijd voor nieuw materiaal, met het triomfantelijke nummer ‘Hold Your Nerve’ als eerste single.

De jonge band Wildwood Kin uit het landelijke Zuidwest-Engeland bestaat uit de zussen Beth en Emillie Key en hun nicht Meghann Loney. Het trio maakt prachtige, meerstemmige folk, geïnspireerd door grootheden als Simon & Garfunkel, Fleetwood Mac en Fleet Foxes.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
