Samuel Sekyere, oftewel rapper Bokoesam ken je wellicht als MC van de Bassline clubnachten en is inmiddels goed voor miljoenen YouTube views en veel boekingen door het hele land.

Na een aantal mixtapes, EP's, singles en zijn bijdrage op het New Wave project vond Bokoesam het tijd om zijn eerste echte album te gaan maken. Hieruit is Solo voortgeborduurd met gastbijdrages van onder andere Idaly, Lil Kleine, Yung Nnelg en Ray Fuego en maar liefst 19 tracks lang is dit album nog lang nog niet saai geworden. Uiteenlopende tracks van trap tot dancehall, Sam laat zich van alle kanten zien op zijn debuutproject.

Momenteel is de Bokoesam nog alle festivals in Nederland stuk voor stuk aan het afbreken, maar zal in het najaar de verdiende aandacht besteden voor een show speciaal in het teken van zijn album.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
