Blanco White begon in 2014 als het soloproject van Josh Edwards uit Londen. De songwriter studeerde gitaar in Spanje en vertrok daarna naar Bolivia om zich het snaarinstrument charango eigen te maken. Dit is terug te horen in zijn nummers, waarin hij elementen van Andalusische en Latijns-Amerikaanse muziek combineert met invloeden die hij dichter bij huis heeft opgedaan. Edwards debuteerde in 2016 met zijn EP 'The Wind Rose', daarna volgde de EP ‘Colder Heavens’ waarvoor hij samenwerkte met producer Ian Grimble van Bear’s Den, Matt Corby en Daughter. Momenteel werkt de muzikant aan zijn langverwachte debuutalbum.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal before the show. We recommend making a reservation in advance via this website.
