De singer-songwriter Alice Phoebe Lou is nog maar begin twintig, maar is al de halve wereld over gereisd. Ze groeide op in Zuid-Afrika en kwam via Parijs en Amsterdam in Berlijn terecht. Daar ging Alice muziek maken en besloot ze met haar eerste EP 'Momentum' wederom de wereld rond te trekken. Ze speelde haar folkliedjes op straat, in barretjes en kleine zaaltjes van Palestina tot New York. In 2016 kwam het door haarzelf gefinancierde debuutalbum 'Orbit' uit, met daarop negen door jazz beïnvloedde nummers waarop de sopraan-stem van Alice Phoebe Lou mooi naar voren komt. Na de release van de innemende single 'She belooft 2019 veel meer in petto te hebben voor deze snel evoluerende artieste.

How to get to Zonnehuis

Zonnehuis is on Zonneplein 30a in Amsterdam North. Parking is free on Sunday and on other days after 7pm. The closest ferry to Zonnehuis is the NDSM-werf ferry. From there you can take a cab or bicycle, both getting you to the venue in about 10 minutes.
