Filippo Bonamici is een Italiaanse singer-songwriter, producer en muzikant die werd geboren in Rome en in zijn puberjaren verhuisde naar Ierland. Na wat omzwervingen komt hij in 2012 in Berlijn terecht, waar hij in 2015 Fil Bo Riva opzet. Samen met bandlid Felix A. Remm en producer Robert Stephenson komt 'If You're Right, It's Alright' tot stand, dat wordt opgevolgd door het goed ontvangen debuut 'Like Eye Did'. Hierna gaat het snel en wordt Fil Bo Riva gevraagd het voorprogramma te verzorgen van o.a. Milky Chance, Matt Corby en Joan As Police Woman en staat onder andere op Eurosonic. In 2019 komt Beautiful Sadness uit, waarop de band met invloeden van folk, indierock, indiepop en soul en het rauwe stemgeluid van Bonamici een sterk geluid laat horen. In 2023 kwam zijn album 'Modern Melancholia' uit.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
