Tycho is het project van de Amerikaanse producer en visueel kunstenaar Scott Hansen. Hij begon als soloartiest, maar groeide in een paar jaar uit tot frontman van een voltallige band met krachtig geluid. Op het meest recente studioalbum ‘Epoch’ (2016) wordt de warme, veelal instrumentale elektronica voor het eerst aangevuld met vocalen. Deze nieuwe interpretatie van Tycho’s organische geluid wordt doorgezet op het vijfde studioalbum ‘Weather’, waarop de stem van Hannah Cottrell (artiestennaam: Saint Sinner) in een paar nummers de ruimte krijgt. Scott Hansen legt uit: “When setting out to record ‘Weather’, I wanted to finally fulfill what had been a vision of mine since the beginning: to incorporate the most organic instrument of all, the human voice”.

How to get to Paradiso
Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
