De in Frankrijk geboren, in Canada wonende viral internetsensatie, singer-songwriter en producer Tobias Dray geeft op 22 mei voor het eerst een concert in Nederland in Cinetol. De muziek van de slechts vijfentwintigjarige artiest is lastig in woorden te omschrijven; het is een vernieuwende mix van elektronische indie met invloeden van rock, drum 'n bass, hyperpop, hiphop en r&b. Dray bereikt zijn fans onder andere via TikTok, waar hij 3,1 miljoen (!) volgers heeft, maar ook via platforms als Omegle en Discord. Hij staat bekend om zijn gave om fans te verbinden, aan het lachen te krijgen en zijn sterke DIY-mentaliteit; zo brengt hij onder andere al zijn muziek in eigen beheer uit.

How to get to Cinetol
Cinetol is on Tolstraat 182 in the South of Amsterdam. The closest tram stop is Lutmastraat. There is also a nice restaurant in the building where you can have dinner before the show. Cinetol only accepts card payment, no cash.
