Wanneer je luistert naar The Teskey Brothers zou je denken dat dit het werk is van een jaren '70 blues- of soulzanger uit Memphis. Zanger John Teskey en zijn band zijn echter een groep twintigers uit een dorp net buiten Melbourne. Gewapend met een doorrookte whiskeystem en een onweerstaanbare groove maken ze een rauwe combinatie van soul en blues, aangevuld met een vleugje southern-rock. Het zeer goed ontvangen debuutalbum 'Half Mile Harvest' is in hun eigen thuisstudio opgenomen op een vintage taperecorder.

How to get to Zonnehuis
Zonnehuis is on Zonneplein 30a in Amsterdam North. Parking is free around this monumental building. The closest ferry to Zonnehuis is the NDSM-werf ferry. From there you can take a cab or bicycle, both getting you to the venue in about 10 minutes.
