De Britse postpunkband The Psychedelic Furs vormde zich in 1977 en het duurde niet lang voordat de eerste hits de radiozenders onveilig maakte. Met nummers als ‘Love My Way’, ‘Pretty In Pink’, ‘Heaven’, ‘The Ghost In You’ en ‘Heartbreak Beat’ op zeven studio-albums maakten de Engelse artiesten veel indruk en waren ze in de beginjaren van MTV ook vaak op de muziekzender te zien. Na een aantal jaar aan andere projecten te hebben gewerkt, kwam The Psychedelic Furs in het begin van dit millennium weer bij elkaar en is ook in 2018 nog net zo scherp als 41 jaar geleden.

How to get to Paradiso
Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.Â
