The Apples is een negenkoppige instrumentale band uit Israël. Al meer dan acht jaar vermengd de groep elementen uit het Midden-Oosten met rauwe funk en elektronica tot een avontuurlijk en fris geluid. The Apples maakt effectief gebruik van improvisatie. Zonder voorgeprogrammeerde samples of geluidjes zoeken ze live naar hun eigen sound. De band haalt alles uit de kast - ook turntables en blazers - om composities ter plekke te veranderen en nieuw leven in te blazen.
