Zanger Tawsen heeft Marokkaanse roots en groeide op in Italië, waarna hij naar Brussel verhuisde toen hij elf was. In zijn muziek hoor je dan ook invloeden van raï terug, terwijl de teksten afwisselend in het Italiaans of Frans worden gezongen. Na een drietal EP's en zijn laatste release, de mixtape ‘Nessun Dorma’, brengt Tawsen nu eindelijk zijn unieke sound naar Bitterzoet.
