Tamino is een zanger, gitarist en pianist uit Antwerpen die aan het conservatorium in Amsterdam studeerde. Hij komt niet zomaar aan zijn voorliefde voor muziek en shows: op jonge leeftijd heeft zijn moeder hem kennis laten maken met opera en theater. Ook is zijn grootvader is in de Arabische wereld een zeer bekende zanger en acteur. Deze invloeden hoor je allemaal terug in Tamino’s muziek, deze bevat namelijk beeldende composities en elementen van Arabische muziek.Â
Zijn titelloze EP uit 2017 bevat singles als 'Habibi' en 'Cigar' die al hoge ogen gooide. Tamino's debuutalbum 'Amir' verscheen in oktober 2018, maar zijn ster was toen al lang rijzende, getuige de vele uitverkochte shows die hij al op zijn cv heeft kunnen zetten. We hebben met de nieuwe singles 'The First Disciple' en 'Fascination'Â al een voorproefje gehad van zijn komende album getiteld 'Sahar'.

How to get to Paradiso
Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.Â
