Sean McConnell is een gepassioneerde, maar altijd nuchtere songwriter uit het Amerikaanse Georgia. Als soloartiest maakt hij poëtische folkliedjes met invloeden van country en pop, waarmee hij in rap tempo een grote fanschare in Texas heeft verzameld. Daarnaast schreef hij in zijn rol als songwriter vele nummers voor pop- en rockartiesten als Brad Paisly, Tim McGraw en Meat Loaf. Dat Sean McConnell voor het schrijven van nummers is gemaakt, blijkt ook uit de vroege start van zijn carrière. Op zijn vijftiende bracht hij al zijn eerste album uit en daarna is hij nooit meer opgehouden met het uitbrengen en schrijven van muziek. Zo kwam begin 2019 nog zijn meest recente album ‘Secondhand Smoke’ uit, zijn dertiende release.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
