De 22-jarige singer-songwriter Sam Tompkins begon zijn carrière als straatmuzikant in zijn woonplaats Brighton in Engeland. Zijn grote doorbraak volgde echter via YouTube, waar hij met zijn cover van Drake’s "Hold On We're Going Home" een grote viral hit scoorde. Dit leverde hem miljoenen views én een platencontract met het gerenommeerde platenlabel Island Records op. Sam staat bekend om zijn bijzondere stem en zijn edgy popgeluid vol invloeden van r&b en hiphop en heeft inmiddels al drie succesvolle EP’s uitgebracht. Ook gooide hij hoge ogen op showcasefestival Eurosonic Noorderslag 2020 in Groningen. Op dinsdag 16 maart zie je hem tijdens zijn eerste eigen Europese clubtournee in Paradiso in Amsterdam.

How to get to Paradiso
Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
