Rufus Wainwright, de Grammy-genomineerde singer-songwriter wiens weelderige, theatrale pop teruggrijpt op tradities van Tin Pan Alley, cabaret en zelfs opera, bracht in 1998 zijn titelloze debuut uit. Sindsdien is het snoeihard gegaan en wordt Wainwright door de New York Times geprezen om zijn oprechte originaliteit en de manier waarop hij zichzelf heeft gevestigd als een één van de grote mannelijke vocalisten, songwriters en componisten van zijn generatie. Deze avond keert Wainwright terug naar Paradiso met zijn 'Unfollow The Rules'-tour, waarop de klassiekers zeker voorbij zullen komen, maar ook nieuwe nummers hun opwachting maken.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
