Ruben Annink vergaarde zijn eerste bekendheid door zijn deelname aan het tv-programma “De Beste Singer-Songwriter” in 2015. De Haarlemse zanger, die als straatmuzikant begonnen is, werd op zijn vijftiende ontdekt door Ali B, waarna hij al snel hits scoorde met onder andere Jonna Fraser, Teske en Keizer. Inmiddels heeft Ruben binnen de Nederpop zijn eigen geluid ontwikkeld, zoals terug te horen is op zijn laatste EP 'Helderzien'.

Voorprogramma: Gerson Main
Gerson Main speelde voorheen in de bands van o.a. Typhoon, Dio, Akwasi en Sarah Jane. Daarna ging Gerson solo verder en behaalde hij een finaleplaats in de talentenjacht De Beste Singer-Songwriter. Zijn poëtische teksten op aanstekelijke ritmes sloegen aan. De singles 'Ik Weet Niet Hoe' en 'Deejay' leiden naar het debuutalbum 'De Slechtste Singer-songwriter van Nederland'. Daarnaast maakt Gerson Main veel muziek voor andere artiesten en reclames. Op dit moment werkt hij aan zijn tweede album, een theatervoorstelling en een dichtbundel.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
